Angel Lara named Head of Alternatives at Klarphos

Klarphos has attracted another top hire for its Alternative Investment business. Angel Lara (41) will join the company as of end of January 2023 and lead the alternatives investment process, overseeing all of Klarphos’ portfolios in Alternative Investments.

Angel brings more than 15 years of experience in portfolio construction, due diligence, and manager selection across alternative investment funds. He joins from Santander Asset Management, where he invested multi-billion AUM portfolios focused on alternatives, including Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Assets and Private Debt. Before Santander, Angel was Head of Alternatives in Banco Sabadell’s asset management division.
