Vice President/Director – Business Development Germany

Klarphos is a leading European Investment Manager providing customized solutions for institutional clients to achieve their goals in Alternative Investments. Besides providing in-depth advisory services, jointly with our modern RAIF fund platform, we launch and manage funds in an uncomplicated and quick way.

Together with Klarphos Senior Management, you will develop and implement business development strategies for institutional clients, such as pensions, endowments, family offices, banks and insurance companies. The role will focus primarily on Germany (other countries can be discussed). You will become part of a new growth initiative with an unparalleled team in Europe.

Your key responsibilities

• Market entire suite of SMA and commingled alternative asset management offerings to institutional investors in Germany
• Arrange and attend industry networking events with portfolio managers
• Maintain and develop specialist knowledge of alternative investment asset classes and strategies
• Pro-actively source new business opportunities
• Develop and curate product concepts and marketing material, including project management of relevant external vendors
• Close collaboration with compliance/legal and risk management
• Establish, maintain and grow CRM database
• Provide regular updates to Senior Management on potential business opportunities

Your background

• Minimum 5 years of experience in investor relations and/or product sales/fund distribution with an existing book of institutional clients in Germany
• Self-starter with a proven track record of taking the initiative, being adaptive in a fast-changing environment and working independently
• Academic background in Economics/Finance desirable; MBA or equivalent desirable
• CFA and/or CAIA designation(s) desirable
• Fluency in German and English
• Excellent client service and communication skills
